As a Phantom of the Opera fan, I constantly find myself torn.

Whenever I read the original novel or watch a stage version that follows the canon, I cry a little because I just want Erik to stop hurting and be happy.

But whenever I see something fan-made that features happy!Erik, I usually end up saying “This is some bullshit and it suuuuucks.”

And anything related to Phantom of the Paradise makes me jump because I always think it’s too obscure for most fans.

PotO makes me die a little inside.
